3. Data We Do Not Collect (via the Mobile App)

Based on the current App implementation, we do not collect:

  • Precise or approximate GPS location
  • Payment card / financial account details in-app
  • Advertising ID for ads tracking
  • Health or fitness data
  • Third-party analytics SDK identifiers (no Firebase Analytics / AdMob / similar SDKs in the current App)

4. How Data Is Collected

  • Information you provide directly — sign up, sign in, profile updates, contact forms, campaign creation, media uploads.
  • Device permissions you grant — Contacts permission for importing device contacts; file/media access for uploading images, videos, documents, and CSV files; camera permission if used for capturing media (where enabled by the App/device).
  • Automatic/operational collection — authentication session restoration, API requests required to load your dashboard, campaigns, notifications, and connected account status.

5. Why We Collect Data

  • App functionality — running contacts, media library, campaigns, templates, scheduling, notifications, and social publishing features.
  • Account management — creating/managing your account, authentication, profile updates.
  • Service delivery via integrations — sending or publishing user-initiated content through connected messaging/social providers.

We do not currently use collected data in the App for in-app advertising, third-party advertising personalization, or third-party product analytics SDKs.

6. Data Sharing

The mobile App communicates with Car Spectrum servers (carspectrumdr.com). To provide requested features, certain data may be shared with third-party platforms through our backend, including:

  • Meta / WhatsApp — WhatsApp template syncing and WhatsApp campaign delivery
  • Whapi — WhatsApp Status automation / status publishing features
  • Instagram (Meta) — account connection and publishing posts initiated by the user
  • TikTok — account connection and publishing posts initiated by the user
  • Telegram — campaign/message delivery initiated by the user

What may be shared, depending on the feature used:

  • Message/post content
  • Media files (images, videos, documents)
  • Recipient contact details required for delivery
  • Captions, hashtags, template content
  • Account connection information needed for publishing

We share data with these parties only as needed to perform actions you request in the App (for example sending a campaign or publishing a post). We do not sell personal data.

7. Security Practices

  • Data transmitted between the App and our servers is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit
  • Access to account features requires authentication
  • Session tokens are stored on-device to keep users signed in
  • Passwords and sensitive credentials are handled through secured account authentication flows on our servers

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service.

8. Data Retention

We retain account, contact, media, campaign, and related service data for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business/legal purposes.

We retain your account and service data while your account remains active. After an account deletion request is completed, we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain information for legal, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Media files, contacts, and campaigns deleted by the user in the App are removed from active use according to our backend deletion process.

9. User Controls & Deletion

Users can currently manage data in the App by:

  • Updating profile information
  • Deleting contacts
  • Deleting media items
  • Deleting campaigns / templates (where available)
  • Logging out (clears local session/token from the device)

Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Car Spectrum account and associated personal data, contact us at support@carspectrumdr.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address used for your account. We will verify the request and process deletion according to our retention policy.

10. Children's Privacy

Car Spectrum is not directed to children and is intended for business/professional users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Advertising & Analytics

The current Car Spectrum mobile App does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics / AdMob-style trackers). In-app statistics related to campaigns or social posts are first-party/service metrics used to operate the product.
